Our 1901 library building is on the State and National Register of Historic Places. Andrew Carnegie personally donated funds toward the construction of Skene Library. We have on display the original architectural drawings. We have an extensive collection of local history. Skene Library offers the comfort of a sitting area with fireplace.
Fleischmanns Museum of Memories is next door to Library. Fleischmanns Park includes tennis courts, a playground and ballfield in addition to a swimming pool. Congregation Bnai Israel is located nearby. Belleayre Ski Center is two miles east of Fleischmanns. There are many art galleries in the area.
