Our beautiful Sidney Memorial Public Library is centrally located in the downtown area of Sidney. The original part of the library, which is currently our children's area, was completed in 1955. In 1994 we expanded and connected to the former U.S. Post Office Building, making our library what it is today. Our large Smart Community Room often has local Artists work on display and we hold many Special Events there. You can also find many historical book about Sidney in our quiet room named The Swiss Room. Across the street from the Library is the old Municipal Hall, which housed our library for over 40 years.
Being located on the corner of Main Street and River Street, it makes walking downtown easy! You can visit one of our many small shops or local eateries, including Gourmet Coffee Shops, Pizza Shops, Diners, and foods like Sushi & Tacos! Our Masonville Library Branch is only a 10 minute drive! Stop by the Veteran's Park and Keith Clark Park on your way!
We are very quaint town that offers a variety of things. There is something for everyone!
