The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, also known as DASNY, is the agency responsible for bonding for the funds that support the New York State Library Construction Aid Program.
As part of their role, they execute an independent review of all construction aid applications They determine whether a project fits within the parameters set forward in the legislation that created the construction aid program. As part of their determination, they sometime ask for clarifications of, or amendments to, construction aid applications. This process takes place after the review by the State Library.
