Before the report can be submitted, all error checks must be addressed.
Error checks occur when the software's calculations highlight missing information or large jumps or falls from the previous year.
Some error checks can be resolved by adding an explanatory note.
Some error checks can only b resolved by correcting the math or adding missing information.
A resolved error check will show a green check mark on the status page. All checks must be resolved before the report can be submitted. If you are having trouble clearing an error check, contact 4CLS.
Once all questions have been answered and all error checks have been addressed, the report can be submitted.
To submit the report, click on Status & Printing and click Submit.
Submission will fail if there are unanswered questions or open error checks.
Once the report is submitted, no further changes can be made.
If you discover an error after submission, contact the system to unlock the report.
After submission, 4CLS staff will review the report for accuracy and completeness. You may be contacted to update or correct information.
After the 4CLS review, reports are reviewed by staff from the New York State Library. If any further corrections are needed, the library will be notified by the system.
You may have noticed your numbers for total holdings (2.17) is a lot lower for 2024.
This is because the state no longer counts digital holdings (E-books, etc) in this section.
Add a note that says: ""this year's numbers decreased because digital materials are no longer counted"
